Pakistani teenager Aitzaz Hasan died Monday after tackling a suicide bomber trying to enter his school. By sacrificing himself, he saved the lives of the 2,000 students studying inside. Hasan’s father says, ”My son made his mother cry, but saved hundreds of mothers from crying for their children.”
This is bravery. This is selflessness. This is true courage.

why isnt this all over the worlds newspapers this is truly amazing!!!!!

From what I can see, the UK, Australia, and Canadian news organizations reported on it, but none of the major US organizations have. That’s really upsetting because this is something everyone should see. The boy did something amazing and it deserves to be recognized.

May he rest in peace.

This is true heroism and needs to  be recognized all over the world. I understand that this is a sad loss for the family but this is also a great argument for the needs of the many outweighing the needs of  the few

SEGA have officially announced that Sonic Boom (working title), teased by Polsky earlier this year, will be released in late 2014 in the US and France, and is up for 52 eleven-minute episodes (one full season of 26 half-hour episodes).
The series will be animated in 3DCGI and as you can see, everyone has been redesigned.
Time will tell if Bean the Dynamite shows up, but he would be enjoyed by all.

Ooh… I actually really like the look of those silhouettes!
You can get a little more detailed info here: http://www.sonicstadium.org/2013/10/new-sonic-cartoon-sonic-boom-coming-late-2014/

Aaaagh this poster is beautiful!
Who on Mobius is that third silhouette though.  Is that supposed to be Knuckles?

third one is Knuckles, apparently he hit the gym and is buff now

Remember the one time Sonic went shopping for car insurance?

Does he even have a car??

Uploaded with Imgupr

I stand corrected.

Uploaded with Imgupr Although, I gotta wonder what happened to that neat little red one too. X3 But really, I think the question isn’t so much as “Does?” as it’s more “Why?” XD

Why not? Shadow’s got his motorcycle and Eggman has his flying egg thing ( forgot what its called). Probably just doesn’t want to be left out.

Shadow’s apparently faster without the motorcycle. He just likes it for it’s cool value. XD

Besides, doesn’t Sonic own that plane?

The plane, yeah he owns it and it’s name is The Tornado. Tails is usually the one to fly it though. The Tornado II is belongs to Tails though, that’s the blue one

This is really an eye opener…. Water or Coke? We all know that water is important but I’ve never seen it written down like this before.
WATER1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated.
2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.
3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one’s metabolism as much as 30%.
4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study.
5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.
8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.
And now for the properties of COKE
1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days.
3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the “real thing” sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.
8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.
For Your Info1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.
2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved for Highly corrosive materials.
3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!
Now the question is, would you like a glass of water or coke?

Good freaking info!

Yum!

#coke vs. #water

well that just made me never want soda in general especially coke ever again

Some interesting info to be sure
